Summer Has Started

It is summertime! The kids have been out of school for a few weeks and Kaity is already bored and can't wait for 2nd grade to start. Mariah has graced us with her presence a few times in between hanging out with friends and Aaron is starting to talk up a storm! We have been spending alot of time out at the pool and I am posting a few pictures of the kids at my friend's pool. Everyone is enjoying the water and unfortunately Aaron has no fear!

Easter Weekend

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!! We spent the weekend coloring eggs on Thursday night and celebrating at my mom's house on Sunday. Chris and I had a quick trip away by ourselves Friday night so we had to spread out activities a bit. The Easter Bunny made an appearance Sunday morning and hid baskets and jellybean filled eggs for everyone to find. Aaron caught on quick and Kaity found the most eggs. There was also another egg hunt at Nana's house that Mariah enjoyed once she realized there was money involved :)

A Morning at the Park

It has been a few hectic weeks for everyone and we finally had a quiet morning to hang out at the park. It was a nice cool morning and Kaity and Aaron had a great time hanging out with Nana. Mariah had just returned from her chorus trip in California and was too tired to join us. All of the kids are doing good. Aaron is getting bigger every day and starting to talk more. Mariah and Kaity had great report cards and are looking forward to summer.

Ohh Aaron!!

Aaron continues to be the cutest little devil every made. He climbs everything and loves to be busy. He is starting to talk a little bit and his latest thing is saying "go, go, go" which sums him up pretty well :) He is a very good natured little guy and alot of fun to play with. Here are some pictures of him playing at the Biltmore Hotel during our visit with Uncle Gary and Aunt Maria and climbing everything!!

The Girls

Both of the girls have stayed busy. This weekend Kaity got her ears pierced!! She was very brave and picked out little birthstone (emerald) earings. Mariah still refuses to get earings and got her hair cut insead.
Mariah's softball team is 2-1 and has been doing well. She has had a change to try out some new postions that she hasn't had a chance to play before and is enjoying "having the games count for something."

Kaity started taking cheer classes a few weeks ago. She is having such a great time and said that she wants to try out for a cheer team as soon as she's ready. It is so much fun to watch her practice all over the house. Here are a few pictures from class last week.

Mariah's Friday :)

Mariah found out on Friday that she made her school softball team. We are so excited for her! After school she headed to the Valentine's Dance with her boyfriend Brad and on Sunday she left for the cruise with my Mom. Not a bad weekend if I do say so myself!!

Welcome to our blog! We have had a busy winter already a wonderful holiday and a great visit from Jackie and Jeff. This is what we are up to this week... Kaity is busy getting ready for Valentines Day, Mariah is getting ready for her cruise with her grandma and softball tryouts, and Aaron is busy destroying things!! Chris recently went to Vegas for Joey's birthday and I'm learning how to blog :) Keep in touch as I figure how to do this. Hopefully i can get pics posted too!
